Accessibility Statement

Our goal is to provide outstanding hospitality to all travelers and their endeavors, this includes everyone. Our mission is to provide opportunities to all, including those with hearing, vision, or any disability to best understand our products and services before making a booking decision. Any questions or concerns can be taken up with our friendly staff via telephone or email.

We strive to provide a user-friendly online experience to all guests, regardless of their device type. Guests who require assistive technology such as a screen reader, font magnification, translation or voice recognition software can find comfort in knowing their needs will be fulfilled. We are committed to compliance with Level AA success criteria of the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), an international standard measure of accessibility success. These particular guidelines are carefully monitored to continue our pursuit of a user-friendly online experience. Our website has been tested to ensure we meet or exceed Level AA checkpoints of the WCAG 2.0 Standard.

Our website allows travelers to search for accessibility featured rooms and provides details about our property’s accessibility features. The appropriate policies, best practices, and procedures are in place to ensure that individuals with disabilities can locate and make reservations for accessible guest rooms with ease.

As part of our reservation processes, we:

1 - Ensure that accessible guest rooms are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented and the accessible room requested is the only remaining room of that type;

2 - Reserve, upon request, accessible guest rooms or specific types of guest rooms and ensure that the guest rooms requested are blocked and removed from all reservations systems; and

3 - Guarantee that accessible guest rooms reserved through our system are held for the guest, regardless of other inquiries.

If you require any assistance with booking your reservation, please contact us directly via email, phone, or social media, which you will find on our contact page. If you have any questions or would like to report any issues related to the accessibility features of our hotel’s website, please contact us at: cornell@cornellhotel.com

Property Features

ADA Compliant/accessible features for the overall property

Our French Boutique hotel was originally built in 1910 and, like many San Franciscan buildings from that era, is of Victorian architecture. We have done renovations over the years to provide greater accessibility and modern comfort to the hotel, while keeping intact the classic San Francisco architecture that defines the building. Some of these aspects that we had to keep intact in our hotel and restaurant are not technically feasible to update in order to entirely accommodate our prospective guests who use wheelchairs or are otherwise limited in their mobility. We deeply apologize to anyone who we are therefore unable to serve.
